Medford, NJ Anthony Mongeluzo, 28, president of Pro Computer Service (www.procomputerservice.com), has been named for the second year in a row to the Philly 100, which identifies the 100 fastest growing privately-held companies in the region.
Mongeluzo's firm, also a winner in 2007, is currently the 7th-fastest growing company in the Delaware Valley.
The Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Business Journal and the Wharton School of Small Business Development are the sponsors of the annual Philly 100.
"I set out to run a successful business and never thought about winning awards," Mongeluzo says. "I was able to take my Rowan education, advice from some great business friends and a tireless work ethic and managed to put all that together to grow very quickly. But no entrepreneur really does it alone. When I greet my employees every morning, they remind me of why I've been successful."
The Philly 100 started in 1988 with the intent of promoting the economic vitality of the region by spotlighting bright, successful entrepreneurs.
Early this year, Mongeluzo had been named NJBIZ's Forty Under 40 for 2008. The Forty Under 40 awards program "honors men and women who have been making headlines in their field and who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and to the community," according to NJBIZ.
Mongeluzo started Pro Computer Service in his parents' house in 2002 as the sole employee. His company offers full service computer support, hardware sales, Web site design, consulting and help desk services to businesses and consumers. Today, he has 19 employees with offices in Medford, NJ, Collingswood, NJ, and Newark, DE.
Mongeluzo holds a bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) in business administration with a specialization in management information systems from Rowan University. He serves as president of Rowan's Alumni Board for the College of Business.
